Using VLAN ID in serviced offices was created by ptulloch
Hello

I'm trying to assist someone who's rented a static public IP from serviced offices provided by Regus in the UK. While providing the IP details, they have listed a "VLAN ID" of 12. Can someone assist me in understanding where I enter this information when configuring the Draytek 2862 for ethernet WAN? There is a VLAN tag insertion section which has both Service and Customer fields. Is it one of these? What is the difference?

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks
Paul

Thanks for replying hornbyp

It helps in the sense that the article confirms that Customer VLAN tag insertion was the option that existed before they added another one. I guess if this is the default then this is where I should be adding the value provided by Regus. This is still a guess though, I was hoping that someone would recognise my circumstances and explicitly confirm where I should enter the value.
