Vigor 130 - Broken ? was created by victorhorta
I guess I borked the modem with a botched firmware upgrade ! Here's what I now get with a login :

HTTP/1.0 File System Invalid.
Pragma: no-cache
Content-type: text/html

<HEAD><TITLE>File System Invalid.</TITLE></HEAD>
<BODY><H1>File System Invalid.</H1>
The file system of Web-based UI is inconsistent with router's firmware.<br>Please check the firmware version.</body>
</html>

Anything I can do with this ?
Thanks.

UPDATE :

I found the Help Page wrt TFTP and managed to get a firmware file into the modem (took 2 attempts), the lights changed after a while but no obvious reboot happened and the GUI at 192.168.1.1 is still unresponsive.

UPDATE 2

Seems I wasn't looking at the correct net address and the modem is ALIVE again. Good to know that the process works.

Eye it works 99% of the time. It's the 1% with a sinking feeling and a brick in your hand.

Thanks for the update, that's great that you have it working again.

Typically if you see a 'firmware filesystem invalid' error, that can be resolved by reflashing with the .rst firmware. The modem should still be able to operate in that state and may not need to be put into TFTP mode before reflashing.
