Vigor 2862 DDNS - A MX Records was created by anointedone
Hi there,

I am attempting to setup a mail server, which incidentally keeps failing. I assume due to resolving DNS A record or MX record, as the domain requres a FQDN. As I am using DrayDDNS.com to point to my server is there an option or web interface to enter A or MX records on the domain name?

Thank you!

No, but you can do it the other way round and set the DrayDDNS entry to be the MX entry for your domain.

So if the mx entry for yourdomain is yourRouter.drayddns.com, and yourRouter.drayddns.com is set to (say) 1.2.3.4 (by the Vigor),
mail to 'someone@yourdomain', would be delivered to 1.2.3.4.

This does require you to have your own domain though ... you can't configure it to use 'someone@YourRouter.drayddns.com'
