Can someone suggest which firmware would be most suitable for the 2760/2762 routers on a poor quality VDSL line with a Huawei (Broadcom) cabinet or is it a matter of trial and error?

The Draytek International site offers 3.9.0_MDM1/2 firmwares for the 2760 and the 3.8.9.4_VECTOR1/4 series for the 2762. Looking at the rather sparse info, the only differences appear to be in the modem code although these aren't explained

Can anyone give any indication of the differences between them?

Are all of these suitable for use with UK lines as they appear to offer both Annex A and B code, but presumably only the correct one would be installed for a UK line.

Any help appreciated.

The norm for the UK is to use the BT firmware.. for 2760 see https://www.draytek.co.uk/support/downloads/vigor-2760 and for 2762 see https://www.draytek.co.uk/support/downloads/vigor-2762

I've a 2760 and for some reason it throws a wobbly (constant boot cycle) when try to upgrade to the BT firmware... I have to use the upgrade utility to put a VT2 firmware on..
I have:

If I browse to a BT firmware and preview it says:

Warning: Modem code will be changed.
.. so I don't, not wanting to go through the procedure above again.
Although the 2760 was bought in the UK from a reputable company i suspect it was sourced from elsewhere..
