I have been trying to setup and test the above for a little while now. We have a L2TP VPN with the Draytek forwarding to a Microsoft NPS Server for authentication. All works fine until I try the NPS Extension for Azure MFA.

My phone triggers to be authenticated and the logs show that it has been accepted yet the VPN fails to establish with a

Connection was terminated by the remote computer before it could be completed. message

Any non MFA user still connects fine via a registry key..

I'm presuming some kind of time-out between the 2nd authentication...
