Hi,

Hope you can help. In the office I have a Vigor 2926 dual-Ethernet router and a couple of AP710s. At present there is a single xDSL connection to the router and the office operates over a single class C subnet. I have a new VoIP system going in along with a dedicated xDSL line, the VoIP phones are WiFi enabled and want to keep them off the office LAN. The plan is to create a new VLAN with a dedicated class C subnet on the router and configure a new SSID on the AP710s with VLAN tagging so the new phones only operate on the new subnet. The bit I am not sure about is if I can ensure that the VoIP traffic goes out the WAN port connected to the new xDSL line and the office PC traffic still flows out of the old xDSL connection?

Thanks in advance
Rob

Use load balancing settings under routing, you can specify certain traffic down the required wan

I would create two rules, one for office lan and the other for the voip lan.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I did get it all working by using the Route Policies to direct the subnets to a specific WAN port.

Cheers
