Internet access via lan to lan vpn was created by johnnyalucard
Hi all

I have an issue where I am trying to route all internet traffic through a lan to lan vpn but while the instigating network is routing traffic correctly the receiving network isn't allowing internet access somehow. Either that or not routing that traffic back to the instigating network.

Any ideas anyone?

Check firewall rules?

Also, if there is more than one LAN at the instigating end, you might have to tell the far end of the VPN about it/them (via the "More" option, in the Lan-to-lan setup).

Is LAN-to-LAN routing working ok through the VPN?
Can LAN traffic at the far-end of the VPN access the Internet OK?

Thanks for your reply!

The firewall rules are standard issue default. I wonder if there is something in them that disallows WAN access from a subnet other then the one native to the Router?

The VPN knows about the 2 subnets at the instigating end.

Lan to Lan traffic is fine and the receiving end can access the Wan no prob!
