I’ve had a vpn working for the last two years with few issues

Switched to Vodafone a couple of months ago and I had problems getting a VPN connection to Private Internet Access using L2TP.

Using the server name (e.g. uk-london.privateinternetaccess.com) it fails to connect. I discovered that using an IP address, it connects fine - not ideal though.

Further checking in syslog shows that the server name resolves to 90.255.255.14. If I ping the server in an app, I get a totally different ip returned (eg. 89.238.154.20 - obviously varies over time)

If I ping any of the uk pia servers using the draytek, I get the same ip as above (90.255.255.14) but a totally different one for each location in an app

I’ve tried using the OpenDNS servers and Google DNS with the same result. I’m now rather confused. Anyone care to take a stab at what’s happening here?
