I have a 2832 router and need to setup a public IP on one of the PCs. Looking for help about to make this work because I when use the Public IP on the PC is does not work ie connect to the internet but work if i sue private IP.

Presumably you have a range of public IPs from your ISP? (I ask because you say "the" Public IP - suggesting you may only have one). There are several Draytek guides to this - e.g. https://www.draytek.com/support/knowledge-base/5468

Can I be a little more backwards and ask a dumb question before proferring an an answer.

You say you want to set up a public IP on one of your PC's. Why?

Surely it would be better to have a public static IP which is provided by your ISP and given to your router, then on your router, requests to a given port can be forwarded to your PC. This gives you a lot of control over where your traffic goes on your network.
