2862n Load Balancing was created by soundman
I have 2862n with an ADSL line to WAN1 and a broadband router to WAN2. The ADSL line capacity is limited to around 2Mbps and the broadband to around 15 Mbps (we are in a rural location). When I enable both WANs the speed is less than when I enable WAN2 only. I guess the load balancing is set wrongly but I can't see how.
Can anyone help please?

How do you have it set up? Auto Weight/Session Based works well for me, the speed is faster than the fastest of two 4g connections (also rural, ADSL <5Mbps) but it's the ability to do more things simultaneously that is the real improvement.

Hello Nieldm, Thank you for your response. It seems as if I need to replicate your setting but I can't find how to do it. Will you help me please by pointing the right area in the control software. Many thanks

Hello Neildm,
Found it. It was set to Auto Weight/IP based. I have changed it to Session based. It seems better now.
Thank you very much for your help.

You might encounter the odd strange issue such as browser errors when accessing some websites. There's a little more information here - https://www.draytek.com/support/knowledge-base/5315 with a suggestion as to how to work around it if you do.
