QOS for ipv6 connected Xbox was created by oakserver
Dear Community,

I have QOS enabled on my 2762AC. I have an xbox and PC which are used by my sons for gaming.

The PC has a static IPv4 address which is 192.168.1.7. I have set up a QOS class rule for all traffic from 192.168.1.7 to Class 1. The PC seems to work fine and is lag free when playing Fortnite online.

However, the Xbox doesn't play quite so nicely. It seems to prefer Ipv6 to connect to xbox live and thus avoids the restricted / moderate NAT issue which is a good thing. I want to apply class 1 priority QOS to the Xbox, and note that I can set a class rule for an IPV6 address.

My question is, how do I assign a static IPv6 address to the xbox in order for me to specify the IPv6 address as Class 1? I have done so for the IPv6 address but I do not think it is having any effect as the traffic is connecting to xbox live via the ipv6 address.

Disabling IPv6 on my network isn't really an option as the xbox then encounters nat issues with online gaming.

As always, any advise would be appreciated.
