2862 Bridge Mode was created by leewilding
Hi

Having searched the forums I can't quite find what I need....

Having run a Juniper SRX320 with a VDSL card on my FTTC for a while, the wife has decided it is 'too noisy' and so I need to change it for an SRX300. For those not familiar with Juniper, the SRX300 has no VDSL module, so I will need to put a 2862 in bridge mode and connect it that way.

Anyhow, long story short I cannot get a connection and see zero authentication attempts on my radius server. Is there anything I need to be aware of when putting WAN2 into bridge mode specifically?

Thanks in advance.

There is not much to see really, I have changed to "Enable Full Bridge Mode" on WAN2, and disabled DHCP.

I am guessing there is more to it, but no matter what variation of changes I make, it simply does not work.

Well in wan general setup need to be set vlan for vdsl2 and tag value set to 101 (for uk), and make sure your juniper don't insert vlan tag 101 otherwise you will not connect.

Thanks for that, I will try again this morning.

I recall disabling the Vlan on the Draytek and adding it to the Juniper so that may well be it!
