2762ac BT firmware issue?

I recently updated my firmware to 3.9.2BT. I've also been experiencing drop-outs on my BT WAN connection. I've been losing connection for sometimes a few minutes, sometimes several hours. Rebooting/switching off and on does not resolve the issue.

I have swapped the 2762 for my previous HomeHub and the connection came back immediately and has been solid for several hours.

Trouble is I'm unsure whether I'm dealing with a hardware fault, firmware fault, or just a series of coincidences.

Before I go out and find a replacement router, anyone else running version 3.9.2BT.? Can you tell me if you're seeing issues? Any idea where I can get previous firmware versions?

Hmm... Any further developments on this?

I am considering purchasing a 2762ac to replace my Home Hub 5 and am also with BT (well, Plusnet) so reading this doesn't bode well.
