2862 dropping Windows connections was created by anparkinson
We have just upgraded from a 2860 to a 2862.

The issue we have is that the 2862 keeps dropping connections with Windows 10 PCs. Connections on any other platform are fine.

The 2860 never did this.

Is there a setting in the 2862 we need to change. The setup was copied over from the 2860.

Thanks.

Very odd. Have you checked for IP address conflicts?

Yes. No conflict. Just strange why this never happened on the 2860 and we migrated the settings to the 2862.

When you say it drops the connection does the W10 device lose its IP address (or get the 169.* one)?

If it retains the correct IP can you ping the Draytek from the PC or the PC from the Draytek?

What firmware version are you running?

Are these wired or wireless client?

Anything in the client event logs?

It would also be worth enabling syslog to USB on the the Draytek to see what is shown.
