Disable Remote Management - Not working 2862

Hi there,

I've recently bought a Vigor 2862. It's BT on the upstream but the LAN interface sits on a VLAN (of which the VIGOR is not aware, configured on the switch) and the only other thing it can see is my firewall. Consequently I have turns off *all* the firewall features of the Vigor unit so that all the traffic winds up at my actual firewall which can then block the traffic.

Unfortunately when I https://ip. to my horror I get the Admin console login page. I have absolutely *not got* the option checked to enable remote management but just for a laugh I turned it on, and off again, just to make sure that it wasn't a settings default issue. Still I can hit the remote management console. What else should I check?

That's the router's SSL VPN interface. You can change its port from [SSL VPN ] > [General Setup], or disable the service in [VPN and Remote Access] > [Remote Access Control]
