Hi guys!

I'm trying to connect my Vigor 2762 to ExpressVPN via L2TP over IPsec following this guide: https://www.draytek.co.uk/support/guides/kb-vpnservice-expressvpn

Once the connection is established I can open a browser, navigate to Google and check that my current IP address is the expected one. On the other end, though, I can't open lots of other websites, like Speedtest.net. Chrome just hangs saying "Establishing secure connection" and after a while it times out. I tried the Smart VPN app directly on my PC and with that everything works as expected.

Do you know of anything settings I'm supposed to check or change so that HTTPS/TLS doesn't time out?

Nevermind. It looks like when connecting to some HTTPS websites the packets got too big due to the additional VPN header. I fixed it reducing the VPN MSS a lot, currently set to 1000.

Thanks for including how you fixed it, perhaps that could be added into the support guides
