Hi everyone,
I've setup many Draytek routers and successfully managers them from internet (ddns etc ).
However this particular model does not want to play .
It does not allow anything through, no ping (allow ping in ticked), no vpn connection, and no remote access to admin page from internet (management from internet is allowed).
Internet is via aim card ONLY and it's always on ,
However I found that in dashboard it shows 10.x.x.x IP address for built in LTE modem instead on WAN IP address .(LAN IP is still default 192.168.x.x )
and when trying wan IP from internet it does not work .

Would anyone know the trick ?

Sounds like you're a victim of Carrier-grade NAT ...
...I think you have to pay extra to get a real-world IP address these days :cry:

Since your LTE WAN is NATed, suggest to register to DrayTek VPN Matcher service (free),
then you will be able to dial VPN passing through the NAT with windows-based Smart VPN client.
