Why is the Vigor 130 Firmware crippled?

Hi All

I've just received my Vigor 130, which I have up and running, but whilst researching settings, I noticed that the options available on my model incredibly dumbed-down, when comparing it the the Online demo for the Vigor 130:

http://eu.draytek.com:10130

Does anybody know how to make all these options available? I've tried flashing the BT, Alternative and even the firmware from the draytek.com, but none of them make this level of configurability available.

Thanks

The Draytek UK site makes it quite clear that the 130 available in the UK is simply a modem https://www.draytek.co.uk/products/business/vigor-130#specifications

It appears that elsewhere the model called 130 has basic router functionality - I think all here probably agree that the two models should not both be named "130" but it is what it is.....

The DrayTek Vigor 130 is a VDSL2 and ADSL modem with an Ethernet connection; it is not a router but a true ADSL/VDSL Ethernet Modem (bridge). It provides proven compatibility with UK VDSL2 and ADSL technologies; extensively tested and tuned to provide a robust and reliable DSL connection.

Only use the UK sites , don't try anything from the eu/.com sites and don't believe anything Google search throws up.

The Draytek UK web site does link to the emulator at an eu.draytek.com address (from "Support >> Downloads and Resources >> Router Web Interface Demo" >> Vigor 130") ...

However, the link is http://eu.draytek.com:40130/ - and the resulting 'dashboard' has a disclaimer:
Code:
"The model range available, feature sets and local support varies in different local markets. Please contact support@draytek.com or the local supplier for the exact product specification."

I can't tell if this is a recent change, because the page isn't archived by the "Wayback machine"...

It does, however going from the UK site the link you arrive at is for the correct model . There is a difference in the URL's posted by the OP and that arrived at via the UK site.

Code:
http://eu.draytek.com:10130

Code:
http://eu.draytek.com:40130/

which is why I said it is always best to only follow informatioin and links from the UK support pages.

As we have all said for several years , DrayTek have caused a huge issue with this model numbering , it's even more fun now that the Vigor130 modem has hit the market in the USA .
