Shared connection - 2862 firewall/secure settings

Hi

Newbie question for securing setup please.

Our previous setup was 2 x 4G modem routers - 1 for VOIP phones and 1 for internet (100GB/month) for our small office 6-8 staff. Always use data before month end. No office based mail servers etc. 365 Exchange e mail, Dropbox and Cloud based apps for the business.

We have been provided a 'share' of a 500Meg up/down connection for our office and should have around 100Meg up/down for our use.
The owner has provided the incoming cable, IP address, subnet mask, gateway and DNS addresses for us to use.

Ordered & received our 2862ac router. After connecting to WAN2 & setting the above details, connecting 1 laptop and a quick check shows connectivity at very good speed. I have down powered pending next steps.

What would you experts recommend for security/firewall/system settings etc. to keep our data as safe as possible on this shared connection?

We will want to connect 6-8 regular uses plus occasional visiting staff and the 5 existing VOIP phones to the same connection. If we need to separate the VOIP or give QoS to them, any recommended setup appreciated.

Thanks in advance
