I have a 2862ac configured with multiple SSIDs & VLANs, it is running 3.9.3_BT. I need to extend one SSID coverage urgently, can I add an 802 without downgrading the firmware?

The recent release notes such as this one mention a mesh management limitation but it is not clear; Will adding a mesh AP bork my multiple SSIDs & VLANs or can I simply only mesh one SSID with the recent releases?

Central management of the AP for one SSID would be fine. Non central management (i.e. talking to the AP) would be fine too assuming that's possible. I just need to get one (immovable) device that has particularly poor WiFi ability connected to my router (movable but far, far, far too much hassle to be a serious option). I could downgrade but I'm a keen follower of if it ain't broke school of thought.

The AP802 only supports 2 SSIDs ... which may be a limiting factor for you.
