Odd WAN DHCP client T1/T2 values was created by 2762user
Hi all, Have recently moved ISP to a local fibre supplier, and they require DHCP on the WAN connection (to fibre ONT), but I get irregular brief drop outs a few times a day. When I look in the DHCP settings via telnet, the lease time from them is 3600 which makes sense, but the T1 time reported is 90sec, and T2 is 180sec, which seems ridiculously low - isn't it supposed to be 1/2 and 3/4 of the lease time? The syslog is full of outgoing DHCP requests. Can I force a more appropriate T1/T2 period?
