2862 with TP-Link OneMesh was created by patrickn
Does anyone have experience using TP-Link OneMesh M5 together with a 2862? My 2861 has LAN1 subnet 192.168.1.1. I think all ports P1-P4 are on this subnet. P4 is connected to a Mesh route TP-Link Deco M5 that creates a mesh wireless network. Devices connected to the mesh wifi are on 192.168.68.x subnet. This all works fine except that I have some devices that need to be on the same subnet, specifically a music streamer and a NAS. Currently the music streamer is on the mesh wireless (192.168.68.x) and the NAS is wired to P2 (192.168.1.x). Is there a way I can configure my setup so that the wired LAN connections in the 2862 are on the same subnet as the Mesh wireless network? Thanks!

Change LAN 1 in the 2862 to 192.168.68.x or change the Deco to 192.168.1.x ?

I think I see where I was going wrong: both the 2862 and the Deco M5 were configured as ‘router’. I’ve change the Deco to Access Point mode and all seems fine now, as far as I can so far see.
