Vigor 903 can't create device object was created by philip456
Whenever I try to create a Device Object, it doesn't save.

> Wireless LAN (5GHz)
> Station List
> Tick the entry for a client
> +Device Object
> This opens a popup called Add Device to Device Object
> Enter a name
> Click OK.

It appears to accept the entry but actually the Device Object name stays the same.

Am I doing this wrong? It works on my two Vigor 802s.

Just tried it on one of my AP903s and as you say, it doesn't seem to do anything.

I've never tried this before - no help to you I'm afraid but what exactly is the use of this setting (assuming that it worked) ?

When I look at the station list, I need to refer to a spreadsheet of mac addresses, to work out what the devices are.

If I can give them names, it would make life a lot easier.

It's undoubtedly a bug

However, the "Objects Setting >> Device Object" has a "Create from Wireless Station Table" (/adm/devobjstat.asp) ... which does something similar and I think must be what I used to do this.
