DrayDDNS after Device Upgrade was created by bernagh
I have upgrade a 2862 to a 2865. I backed up and restored the configuration. The question is how do I move my-name.drayddns.com from the record in myvigor. registered against the 2862 to the 2865. I have tried changing the name of the entry in myvigor. for the 2862 record, but it does no accept the change.

Before I start trial and error does anyone know the process?

How do I release the DDNS from the old 2862?
Do I have to have the 2862 on the Internet?
Do I delete the record completely in myvigor?

The backup and restore has confused the issue as it meant the 2865 was attempting to use the DDNS name. This must be a standard request where you want to upgrade but keep the configuration including the DDNS associated with the site and not the device.

Hi,
You need to remove the ddns entry from your 2862 on the myvigor site by selecting it under products first, then you can register the ddns name on the 2865.

You don’t need to plug the 2862 back in to delete the ddns entry.
