I have a 2927ac which connects happily to my Zen vdsl connection (via a 130) on WAN 2.

However, if I put identical connection details into WAN 1 and re-boot as directed, the Zen password is never retained in the PPPoE settings, and "Connection Details" shows PPP failed with "Wrong username or password".

Anyone else having a problem with WAN 1 and (more importantly!) managed to resolve it?

I saw something similar months ago on a different brand , on that device you could not have the same ISP details in both WAN's at the same time.

WAN1 and WAN2 would only work with different credentials entered.

Thinking that might be the case I tried setting WAN 2 to disable, which didn't make any difference.

I'll try clearing the settings on WAN 2 altogether.

Hopefully I'll be back....

OK that did it - took a few re-boots but finally managed to clear out WAN 2 and get WAN 1 to retain the password.
