2927Lac and AP960C was created by tony.taylor56
Just purchased the 2927Lac and AP960C. Can anyone tell me if they are supported in a Mesh network with the 2927 as the root node and the AP960C as a Mesh node? If so I'm doing something wrong as I cant get the 2927 to see the 960C

I have a 2927ac root running 2 AP960c as mesh nodes. However, both are in wired uplink mode. As you say, the 2927 will not "see" the AP if you just power it up out of the box, as Draytek state it should. I think you'll need to connect it by ethernet cable in order to set it up - you may then be able to switch it to wireless mode, but I haven't tried that with the 960C. I have, however, used that procedure with AP903s without problem, other than my Zyxel switch turning off the POE ports when it detects a loop

If you succeed in connecting but also want the status of the mesh node(s) to be correctly reported in the "Mesh status", and for the root to sync configuration data with the node, you'll also need an RC version of the firmware for the 2927, available from Draytek support

Thanks for the info. I'll give that a try.
