2862 with 4g modem was created by fergin
Hi

I’m trying to set up wan 3 using a 4g dongle as a second connection, I am using a huawei 3372 on ee I have tried on pc and dongle works fine, in the router I have selected ppp used ee apn everywhere, tried user and password as eesecure , secure, I’ve also tried my sky sim again works in dongle on pc but will not work on draytek using sky’s apn settings, if I run dongle in dhcp it just keeps loosing usb connection, on wan 1 I have sky option 61 in dhcp settings but I don’t know what to put in for wan 3

Any help appreciated

Regards

Please share with us what you had to do so that others may benefit from the support you were given.

I ask because i will be getting an EE data sim and an as yet unknown brand of dongle for the same router.

The 4g signal does not show in the router so was throwing me a bit, all was needed was the apn,

The signal is fine even thought the 2862 shows no signal, support guy said he would raise with technical as it should show signal

But internet through it works fine

I'll assume apn stands for "Access Point Name", i had to google it.

So i'll assume that you contacted EE or used google to get this info?
