No problem, unfortunately I've actually already tried that too - made no difference.

I've raised a support call in the meantime so I'll report back if they come back with anything useful.

How did you get on?

I ask because i'll be switching to a sim only internet connection with EE or Vodafone shortly.

Hi - well it's been three weeks since I raised the call with them/received a reply/sent them the logs.....since then absolutely nothing. Bit disappointing really.

I'd only just sent a chasing email an hour or so ago...

My experience in the past (pre Covid) was that i always got a reply within 48hrs. During the pandemic however replies have taken several weeks!!! I'm guessing they are short-staffed.

I've asked for help twice this last 15 months, and they have replied eventually, and they successfully resolved my queries on both occasions.

So, just chased again...

Last thing I heard was this on 4th June:-

I will forward this to our engineers. Hopefully will be fixed for the next firmware update. I'll let you know when I have more information.

Ask for V2862_3.9.6.2_RC2_BT - this firmware should fix the problem now, it's related to the Auto APN feature that 3.9.6.1 added.
