2927 Port Redirection was created by tri
Hi All
Just a quick question about NAT>Port Redirection.
Should the Protocol drop down box have an option for TCP/UDP or are they both separate as i'm sure it used to say TCP, UDP or TCP/UDP.
Even the kb article says "This can be set to TCP, UDP or TCP/UDP to open both types of port".
Did it come out in a previous firmware?

Hope some can help

Cheers
Matthew

These two kb articles both refer to either TCP or UDP

https://www.draytek.com/support/knowledge-base/5749#drayos

https://www.draytek.co.uk/support/guides/kb-port-forwarding

So I don't know which one you're referring to - perhaps you could give us a link to it?

as far as I know Port Redirection has always been like that

The NAT - Open Ports dialogue gives you the option to have either or both TCP and UDP

Half way down the second kb article you have linked.

Ah yes I see that line - I suspect that they have inadvertently copied the same line from the "Open Ports" section. As I say, afaik it's never been possible in Port Redirection to set both.
