2766 Router - vlan help was created by daveborrett
Hi All,
I don't know if I am being thick or have missed something but I can't get VLANs to work how I want them to on my 2766 router.
I am/was trying to configure my router such that I have three vlans to separate out various parts of my network into different subnets - P1 is connected to a single ethernet point, P2 is connected to an unmanaged switch that has several ethernet connections, P3 is connected to an unmanaged switch that runs my wifi APs. Connections to P1 and P2 need to be on different vlans, while connections to P3 need to be able to access both vlans (my APs support tagged vlans).
I have tried to configure as above but cannot get a device connected to P2 or P3 to pick up any IP address, let alone the address I want.
Any thoughts about what I need to do to get this to work.

First question - if devices connected to P2 or P3 get no IP address, have you turned on DHCP for those LANS?

DHCP is configured for the port.
VLAN3 is enabled on P3 using subnet Lan3
LAN3 is enabled, DHCP is enabled and configured
If I do ipconfig /release then /renew on a pc connected to P3 it reports back "unable to contact your DHCP server - any thoughts?

I've got my head around it - trying to use tags where I shouldn't of been using them.
