Vigor 2866 Lightwave

Hi
We have just installed Vigor2866 and everything works except Lightwave - the network can not find the device. We have moved it from switchbox directly into router but no connection through port 3 and no connection through switch box - any ideas?

Check the router's [Diagnostics] > [ARP Cache Table] to see if the Lightwave box's IP / MAC address shows up on the port it's plugged into, I suspect it may not.

I have a couple of suggestions to resolve that, if the Lightwave box can't establish an Ethernet link successfully with the Vigor 2866:
1. Try plugging the Lightwave into port P5 to see if that makes a difference
2. Try forcing the LAN port on the router to 10mb/s:
- open the web console (top right, sliders icon)
- enter "port status" to see current port status info
- enter "port 3 10h" to set port 3 to 10mbps half duplex
- enter "port 3 an"
- enter "port 3 status" to see current port speed setting
