Is 2760n safe from attack? Cannot find the latest firmware was created by alan_uk
Noticed in the last few weeks that I have been getting lots of Trace Route attempts (the modem sends me an email). If I'm not careful my ISP will think I have a bot! I just hope this 5 year old Draytek 2760n is up to the job of protecting me.
I cannot recall a firmware update for years. If I click check latest firmware the window is empty (bar headers). A search on Draytek website for 2760n gives nothing but 2760 gives "2021-07-30 Vigor2760 Delight Series Mainline 3.8.9.5" I'm on 3.8.8.2_BT where I think the BT is British Telecom, UK.
I was going to post an graph image but doesn't seem possible. Typically over the last 3 years I get on average 1 a day but over the last few weeks it's been 100 or more a day. I wonder if it is linked to the heighten world tension.

As in, you can't remember being told about one or the Router itself being unable to find one?
The download page here:
https://draytek.co.uk/support/downloads/vigor-2760
seems to have one that fits the bill! (3.8.9.5 incorporates the five other missing updates as well). Unusually, there's only one 'flavour' available - the "BT" one.
The 2760 emulator at
http://eu.draytek.com:12760/
is running 3.8.9.1.

Many thanks @hornbyp for replying. I've downloaded that firmware and will apply it though the release notes say it is only an improvement to wi-fi which I do not use. But good to see Draytek still maintaining the firmware for older products.
I was using the search enginehttps://www.draytek.com/support/latest-firmwares/ does not list the BT version but I should have used the UK site https://draytek.co.uk/support/downloads
Both. The router displayed nothing under System Management / Firmware Upgrade / Check the latest firmware. The window opens, the blue bar ripples across and then just the headings show "Version Release Note Firmware Download"
I was getting emails but they stopped. I just signed up again but see I cannot select just security/firmware updates but mailings include marketing. I don't think that is GDPR compliant!

But don't forget to read the Release Notes for all the intervening versions, which will be 'rolled-up' into that update.
The Draytek mailing-list is a weird world, all of its own...
