Why is my LAN Speed so slow?

Thank you @Piste Basher.

I'm only interested in the plain Vigor2927 and not any WiFi model. The DrayTek server offers 8 versions of firmware from 4.2.0.1 to 4.3.2. If there are "problems with the most recent firmware" which version is generally believed to be the sweet spot?

4.2.4.2 appears to be stable for most people (I appear to be the exception, but only if I enable IPv6)
