On other threads here I have discussed my woes with a 2960 router that was rebooting. Was a possible PSU problem as it had a domed capacitopr that I replaced. That seemed to help for a while but it has rebooted a number of times since, so I have decided to upgrade to a later model and will troubleshoot that one further later.

I have replaced the 2960 with a 3910. Of course I'm very pleased with the performance of the 3910 given it is such a powerful router. However having used the Linux basd 2960 for so long and now mocving to a DrayOS based 3910, I am stunned by the amount of reboots the thing needs after config changes. The Linux based 2960 *never* required a reboot for any of the config changes I made.

The amount of reboots DrayOS needs is excessive - how can this be considered an Enterprise router?
Given that Draytek had a great OS in the Linux based devices such as 2960 & 3900 what was the reason to go for what appears to be far inferior DrayOS?
