2860 wired network slow was created by johnsmall
I've been running a 2860 for years without a problem, I've just installed a new machine and I'm copying files from one machine to the other, both are on wired LAN connections and I don't get speeds above 20MB/sec !!. So it's taking ages.
Is there some obscure configuration I should alter to improve the speed? I can't believe that wired LAN connection are slower than WAN connections.

Can you take the 2860 out of the equation and prove the problem goes away? (Preferably using the same cables - which would be my prime suspect, assuming it's not one of the clients at fault). An RJ45-to-RJ45 connector would be ideal, but failing that, any old (gigabit-capable) Router/Switch/Access Point.
