CLI vs Web Interface - Discrepancy was created by marshn
I have a number of 2862 routers running the latest 3.9.8.1_BT firmware. There seems to be a discrepancy between the wifi client MAC addresses listed on the web interface compared with those reported by the CLI (“wl stalist show” command). The MAC addresses shown in the web interface are correct, those reported by the CLI are not. In this example the MAC addresses for indexes 1, 4 & 7 have the first five hex digits overwritten by c0:a8:00:7x, where x is variable. The last four hex digits of the MAC are correct.

Exactly the same issue is present on another 2863 running firmware 3.9.1_BT and a 2762 running 3.9.6.2_BT.

The MAC addresses reported in the ARP table returned by the CLI are all correct. I am not sure if this is a WiFi specific issue or more general.

Am I missing something obvious?
