Just in case of interest to someone at Draytek - FW updates usually always cause router to reboot (and thus lose connection) but I just applied 3.9.2 and web connectivity did not stop at all.

Have manually rebooted after upgrade just to be safe.

By contrast I upgraded 2 of these from 3.9.1_BT to 3.9.2_BT and both requested a reboot...

Yes- usually my experience also. Hence me wondering if the upgrade had gone ok and rebooting. The GUI shows the version as 3.9.2

I have another 2860 at another location - I'll see if a reboot happens there.

Thanks.

Sadly for me, 3.9.2 is just as unstable as 3.9.0 & 3.9.1 :(

It did ask for permission to reboot - but wouldn't stay up for more than a minute or two at a time afterwards :!:

However, since this update is critical I suppose I'm going to have to hit it with a ".RST" file and s-l-o-w-l-y add the config back in

Interesting. I wonder if this patch needs double-checking by the devs. My first Vigor patch not to simply install and auto-reboot fine.
