MyVigor Broken was created by reado
Using a Vigor 2927 with firmware version 4.4.2 RC5 (that support sent me), I was advised the issue accessing MyVigor was resolved in this release and that it would be made public soon.

But with this firmware, clicking Product Registration gives me a blank page and the Service Status page reckons I have no Internet connection, which is why the license server cannot be reached.

The Service Activation Wizard also reckons I have no Internet connection.

Come on DrayTek. Enough of the bulls**t. This issue has been going on for months and no one within telephone support seems to have the slightest idea as to why this is happening.

Just fix the problem.

I have a perfectly fine working Internet connection, over a 100M/1G leased line. It doesn't matter if I use public DNS or my ISP DNS, if I reboot the router, change the NTP server settings or reset the router to factory defaults. Even after doing the latter, as soon as I establish the Internet connection, the router still cannot reach MyVigor.

I just spoke to telephone support who sent me another firmware - v4.4.2 RC6 - which still has not resolved the problem.

The thing is, the Product Registration link also produces a white page when accessed on my iPhone over a 4G connection, which proves this is not the fault of the router.

I have a 2927ax and clicking "Product Registration" takes me straight to "My Vigor" where I can log in and see all my registered products.

So maybe it is something to do with you after all?

But copying the link on to my iPhone and trying to access over 4G gives the same result?

What are you using for name resolution? Local name server with a block list perhaps? (ie a PiHole).

No, I can access MyVigor if I type it into my browser, just not using the Product Registration link. Sorry I should have stated that in my original post.

The Service Status > Device Status page says:

Connection Failed!
Please check your Internet connection and retry.

The Service Status > Setup & Log page says:

Authentication Log :
Service Status, Activation authenticate fail, contact with support@draytek.com, 2022-09-30 12:37:36

From the command line:

> service -s

Show service status.
Now state is [SS_STATE_OFFLINE_NONLOGIN]
[OFFLINE] Please check your internet and retry!

And yet, the WAN is established:
