Vigor 2927
What is the best way to prevent unauthorized devices connecting to spare ethernet ports on the network.
We have number of hot desks around an office with ethernet ports, also a few printers with wired connections. We don’t want rogue devices connecting via the ethernet ports.
The Vigor 2927 manages all the networking, we don’t have AD or any other network management.
"authorised" devices are win 10/11 devices, VoIP phones and Printers.

Thankyou, but then we would have to re-patch every time an employee needs to hot desk every day! This does not stop some one unplugging a live port for say, a printer, and plugging their device into it.

Bind IP to MAC strict mode:

Wont stop someone using a static IP though.
