Draytek 3910 High Availiablity Hot Standby issue was created by steve1984
Hi,
I hope someone can help. I have just setup two 3910's in HA mode, one primary and one secondary. The documentation shows that once a config sync has taken place, the primary should show that the secondary is equal. This does not occur on my setup. The primary shows the secondary config status as progressing. The secondsary shows the primary as unstable for some reason.
I have enabled config sync on both routers and set to 1 Day and a config sync has definitley taken place as both haev the same config. The units have been operational now for over two days but these status remain unaltered.
Please see images below, any thoughts very welcome. Thank you in advance.

I can't help unfortunately, we have 2 x 3910 and just run them as a cold spare. We switch every couple of months between them making sure the firmware and config is kept the same. I thought about doing a hot spare but was always worried about issues like this and what is often a poor support experience on the lesser used features.
