2865ac GUI Responsiveness of 'DSL Status' page was created by John
2865ac with VDSL connection. Firmware is 4.4.5.1_BT, DSL code is 8D1B17_A/B/C HW: A
Most GUI pages are responsive, but the 'DSL Status' page takes 8 to 10s to load.
CPU is 2%, memory is 92% and that's with three wireless clients connected, and one IPSec VPN.
I also have a 2862 router on an ADSL connection and have always found the 'DSL Status' page loads almost instantly.
Is 'DSL Status' known to be slow on 2865s?

Hi John,
I don't know the answer to your question, but can confirm that my 2865ac with the same firmware and virtually identical CPU/RAM statistics behaves in the same way as yours.

I've got the 2865ax and I see roughly the same delay as well.
I suspect it's a bug with the 4.4.5.x firmware. I'm currently experiencing random reboots and cannot use the QoS page on the latest firmware. So I highly suspect there's something firmware related that's causing the lag rather than router not having the horsepower to load it any quicker.

Thanks, that's interesting.
I avoided upgrading to 4.4.5.2 owing to the documented QoS issue, but hadn't previously seen any adverse comments re 4.5.5.x in general.
I'm pretty sure that when I tried this initially a few months ago on an ADSL connection that it wasn't laggy, so wonder whether it's a feature of having to get VDSL line status data.

I have two 2865VACs, both on firmware 4.4.5.3_RC3_STD.
My DSL status page is loading instantly.
I'm not on a DSL connection though, don't know if that makes any difference.
I gave up with 4.4.5.2 and reverted to 4.4.5.1, until I found this 4.4.5.3 RC3 version, which seems to be OK.

With the VDSL2 line disconnected, the status page loads instantly, but with the VDSL2 line connected, there is a delay of c.10s for the page to load.
This is repeatable across router re-starts.
