Got a 2860 Vigor router at the moment, but just about to trade-up to a newer Vigor model (not sure which yet).
Want to save a bit of dough, so thought I would look into using a TP-Link extender for outdoor (shall connect to Vigor via a PoE injecting small HP switch) rather than forking out for the Draytek version..
This is spec:
TP-Link AC1200 MU-MIMO Wireless Gigabit Indoor/Outdoor Access Point, Waterproof, Wi-Fi, 802.3af/Passive PoE, Free EAP Controller Software(EAP225-Outdoor)
Question is... obviously Draytek would prefer you to splash out on their pricier Outdoor Access Point, but should the above unit work with my Vigor router?
Thanks - am looking to buy soon.
