Vigor 3910 does not get ip. was created by stiven
I accidentally downgraded the firmware (from latest default version) to version 3.9.7.2. Unfortunately, the device no longer receives an IP address (192.168.1.1), even after restarting, using "TFTP mode," and trying with another computer. I followed the official manual to recover the firmware using "TFTP mode," but nothing has changed.
I also tested "TFTP mode" through the serial port and USBboot command, but the problem persists.
Could anyone please assist to help resolve this issue? I would like to recover the tool to the latest version.

Doubtful that will work but have you tried a hard reset of the router?
You could also try the following but it's really clutching at straws. Give your ethernet adaptor a fixed ip address say 192.168.1.100 subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 and a gateway of 192.168.1.1 then try opening the web interface.
If it opens then you should be able to reset the wan options if need be and the local dhcp server.

Yeah, in the Vigor 3910, there is a reset button, and I have tested all the situations (setting a static IP, reseting, changing cables.).The problem is that the IP address 192.168.1.1 is not active.Unfortunately, there is no official documentation for serial port commands such as "dray tftp" and other configurations using the serial port.

You haven't got anything else on your network with 192.168.1.1 ip address. That would certainly break things.
