ActiveSync on 2900 2900v was created by snoopy
HI
i am trying to swap out a 2900 on FW v2.5.4.3 for a 2900V on FW v2.5.8.

My problem is that with the 2900 in place as the router it allows Activesync to take place, but when the 2900V in put in its place and also all the firewall settings compared and matched with the orginal, active sync fails. the only error displayed in activesync is tempory network failure. I can not see any differences in the setup of either router can anyone suggest what the issue is?

Cheers

Paul

Is this ActiveSync for a PocketPC?

Possibly the MTU settings?

I have an 2900 .. and am also trying to use iPhone with ActiveSync.

Getting Event ID 3033 (in Exchange 2003 SP2) on SBS 2003. States: check the HTTP(S) timeout values on the firewall.

Granted it could be a firewall on the server or the Vigor... I am under obligation to check all equipment as potential points of failure.

There are other posts regarding heart beats and timeout values on the 2820 .. and portmap commands... but the 2900 doesn't accept portmap commands via telnet.

What is the default HTTPS timeout on the Vigor 2900? Can it be changed?
