out of interest, the 2950 firmware (3.0.2) did the same thing with the IDs/passwords. I've just upgraded to v 3.1.0 of the firmware, and now I cannot see the IDs/passwords, so I guess Draytek have done something about it ?

oops - sorry all - I lied It is still there in this version of the firmware, I was looking at a saved .cfg file rather than an FTP'd in bin mode version.
Sorry

Does anyone know if it's possible to upgrade your firmware by FTP'ing a new .all or .rst onto the router?
I assume you would have to create an empty .cfg file with a matching name.

Hi
I tried this on my 2820Vn, but could not get it to work via command line. From windows can FTP in and see the files but can't copy them (says access denied).
Anyone have a method for backing up the firmware for the 2820? or have I done something wrong?
thanks
