I have today received and installed my shiny new Draytek VigorSwitch G2280x.

Having connected all the network devices and updated the firmware to v2.5.1 the switch is now running okay apart from some devices originally connected at 1Gbit speeds and then all of a sudden dropped back to 100Mbit.

Please can you advise as to how I can stop this happening ?

Also I have a Draytek Vigor AP910C Wireless Access Point which was previously connected to my Netgear Switch at 1Gbit speed but since connecting it to the new Draytek Switch with a Draytek POE Injector it will only connect at 100Mbit ?

I had no issues with speed drops with my previous Netgear Switch.

For anyone else that needs to know for future use...

I managed to resolve the issue of the speed drop back to 100Mbit for one device by setting the network port in the switch web control panel to force it to use 1Gbit.

The issue with regard to the Draytek POE Injector - after further research I found out that these POE Injectors seem only to work at 100Mbit speeds and not 1Gbit so I ended up purchasing a Ubiquiti POE Injector that worked at 1Gbit speed and this has resolved the issue.
