Does the TR-069 only work with an ADSL connection? We use 2862's with 3G data cards to manage remote rental equipment. Sometimes we use a public Wi-Fi or client Ethernet in place or as well as the 3G. In other words we never use ADSL. Can devices connect to the VigorACS server even if there are behind another firewall? If so what protocols are used? We often end up on a network where we only have internet access with HTTP/HTTPS open, all the other ports are disabled. Would the routers still be able to connect if they only have HTTP/HTTPS access to the internet?
