2910 to 3300v: sent MR1, expecting MI2. was created by bernie123
Hi

We have a 2910 and 3300v VPN, the 2910 was switched off over the weekend and this morning it cannot connect to the 3300v.

It has been regularly rebooted many times before, but suddenly this time no VPN connection to one site! Both the 3300v and 2910 have no problems with the other VPN connections that they receive / initiate.

Anyway we have deleted and re-created the Lan to Lan connections on both routers but are getting the below logs, it appears more specifically "sent MR1, expecting MI2." causing the problem.

Any advice would be much appreciated.,

Thanks
B

Hi

Probably not a useful answer but; we ended up switching the 2910 off for 2 hours and all was fixed when we switched it on again!
