Hi,

I have two Draytek 2820 routers. I have configured a VPN between them both. However the uptime is never more than 15mins at best. I have configured "Always On", but in the Connection Management tab the connection still resets.

Both lines are 8max lines with no bandwidth issues from the ISP.

Any help appreciated.

Do you have one end as dial-in and the other as dial-out? If not can you give it a try. At the dial-in end set idle timeout to 0. The Drayteks seem not to operate very well with call direction set to both.

Hi Thanks for the info.

Yes I did have them configured this way. I think the problem is that the 2820 does'nt like mulitple LAN to LAN connections. I have upgraded to a 2950 and configured a 120 as modem connection. This has resolved the uptime issue. However now the problem is that I am unable to setup more than 1 Lan to Lan from 2820 to 2950.

Why do you want more than one LAN-LAN connection.

In the LAN-LAN profile, where you specify the remote subnet, can you use the "more" button to specify more than one remote subnet?
