VPN passthrough problem was created by leedon
Hi,

This may not be in exactly the correct section as its not using the vigors VPN facility, its just doing a passthrough.
We have almost all of our clients set up to forward GRE and PPTP onto their windows server.
Almost all of them are having issues with VPN's reporting that they are connected, but no data seems to go across the link, its like the connection gets screwed up.

All of these clients had no issues prior to the vigors being installed.
With a site to site VPN between offices using two vigors and an IP phone, we get dropouts and basically the phone is unusable (we have a similar issue in our office using a hosted voip provider)

Can someone help with this issue, its driving me mad with clients having issues, and i don't want to pull all the vigors as i like the routers and it would cost too much to do so.

I can supply any information that is required. I cannot plus two vigors back to back, one to port forward and one to be a vpn server as i do not have a spare vigor sitting around.

Thanks

try disabling the ddos and using qos for the voip.

2820 = 3.3.2_RC5
2950 = 3.2.4

Hi,

I am seeing this same issue on a few customer sites, did you get a resolution?

Thanks

Ian
